IT Support Officer (Part-time)

The role

As an IT Support Officer, you will provide system and desktop support in a professional manner to the organisation globally through first and second line support. You will work on infrastructure projects and troubleshoot network and active directory issues.

You will assist in monitoring and responding to IT service requests and provide remote support and training to the workforce globally. You will also assist to manage IT incidents through their life-cycle with emphasis on increasing end-user uptime, issues prevention and improved customer service/focus.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will be educated to at least A Level or equivalent, preferably IT related and have experience of working in a Windows domain based environment with networking troubleshooting skills. Experience of desktop and laptop imaging, support, cabling and hardware support and Linux administration skills would be an advantage. You will ideally have some knowledge of working in a helpdesk environment

Experience of Windows 8.1/10, Microsoft Office365, Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, networking devices, Backup technologies, anti-virus and security, as well as knowledge of multi-function printing devices and audio-visual conferencing equipment would be an advantage.
