IT System Support Officer (Full-time/part-time)

The role

As IT System Support Officer you will provide system and desktop support in a professional manner to the organisation globally through first line support and working on infrastructure and system projects. You will assist with the creation and maintaining of reports in Crystal Reports Developer and Microsoft Access. You will assist with providing data and statistical information to the organisation. You will also troubleshoot data issues within our internal systems.

Additionally, you will assist with maintaining the corporate website and the VLE. You will be required for general cover for basic 1st line desktop support. You will assist in monitoring and responding to IT service requests and providing remote support and training to the workforce globally. You will also assist to manage IT incidents through their life-cycle with emphasis on increasing end-user uptime, issues prevention and improved customer service/focus.

Where necessary, you may assist in network support for stability and efficiency of IT services/facilities.

The candidate

The ideal candidate will be educated to A Level or equivalent, preferably IT related and have experience of databases including MS Access, SQL, Oracle and Crystal Reports.

Knowledge of HTML/CSS/PHP/WordPress, experience of website management and network/desktop support would be an advantage.

Experience of Windows 8.1/10, Microsoft Office365, Windows Server 2003, 2008, 2012, networking devices, Backup technologies, anti-virus and security, as well as knowledge of multi-function devices and audio-visual conferencing equipment would be an advantage.
